The wait is almost over!
93 years asleep
3 years in restoration
3 years back in production
At precisely 12 Noon on Wednesday 15th November 2017, we will broach Cask No 2014/001 and draw off a bottle of Annandale Distillery’s very first Single Malt Scotch whisky for 99 years, signalling the precise moment that Annandale’s spirit finally comes of age.
During December 2017 we will be releasing two casks from our first production of unpeated Single Malt Scotch whisky (Casks No. 2014/033 and 2014/037) and two casks from our first production of peated Single Malt Scotch whisky (Casks No. 2014/066 and 2014/071).
To witness the event live. Follow us on Facebook where we will be broadcasting live at midday on the 15th of November.
We anticipate approximately 240 sequentially numbered bottles of cask strength whisky from each cask.
This represents an extremely rare opportunity for enthusiasts and collectors to acquire a bottle of ‘first production’ from a Single Malt Scotch whisky distillery.
These whiskies will be presented as ‘Early Release of First Production’.
Our peated whisky will be known as of Man o’Sword and our unpeated whisky as Man o’Words, in celebration of local icons, King Robert the Bruce (Scotland’s Warrior King and 7th Earl of Annandale) and Robert Burns (Scotland’s National Poet and Exciseman in Annandale), respectively.
Further details of our ‘Early Release of First Production’ will be available in early October.
