NORTHWEST PASSAGE EXPEDITION BLENDED SCOTCH WHISKY
WHAT DOES IT TASTE LIKE?
This premium blended Scotch whisky showcases a deep dark amber hue, hinting at its rich complexity.
The nose unveils a harmonious blend of dried fruits, including dates and raisins, layered with creamy vanilla, smooth caramel, and a warm touch of spicy cinnamon.
On the palate, the whisky offers a sophisticated medley of ripe orchard fruits and fresh leafy greens, balanced by peppery undertones. A subtle wisp of tobacco smoke lingers, adding depth to the finish and enhancing the overall experience with a refined, lingering warmth.
Why Whisky?
Arctic Expeditions of old nearly always brought whisky along with them. It was a morale boost and a way to pass time in good company in the long Arctic nights when nothing much else was ado. We selected whisky because of this tradition and look forward to rising a glass when our work is done in the Arctic
Why Annandale?
We chose Annandale because they offered the best quality, expertise and customer service. Fast delivery times too. They offered us a number of flavours and options and this fine traditional bottle and premium blend was our choice. I think people who buy this are going to sample a dram that is not only exceptional to taste but has that hint of Arctic history about it in a glass.
