2015 Vintage Man O’Sword – Sherry Cask

Tasting notes by the Annandale Distillery Tasting Panel – 15/08/2023 #760 (2015) 60%ABV~

Appearance – Red amber

Nose – Damp embers, tobacco smoke wisps, leather and smoky notes, sweet cooked apples and pears, with burnt orange and wonderful spicy hints of cinnamon.

Palate – A leather and smoky note slowly gives way to sweet cooked fruits of apple and pear with burnt orange highlights. A creamy vanilla note with toffee and honey develops, with glace lemon and orange peel.

Finish – More fruit develops with peat smoke highlights and the long creamy after taste.
