Description
270L casks were produced at the Martell Cooperage in France from the finest French oak and filled with highly regarded XO cognac and matured for a minimum of 10 years. With this length of maturation time, the oak will be impregnated with the beautifully rich character of the XO cognac. Once freshly emptied, these casks come straight over to us ready to be filled.
Notes we expect from this type of finished whisky include the beautiful sweet raisin character of cognac with honey like notes and a beautifully spicy and citrus note to finish. These characters will perfectly complement our peated and unpeated New Make Spirit.
