Cask 39 is a whisky of firsts—our first-ever 10-Year-Old release, and the first 10-Year-Old Man O’Words unpeated Scotch Whisky – fewer than 70 bottles are available and reserved exclusively for our cask owners, friends, and partners as a thank you for their support over the last decade.
Filled on 21st November 2014, just weeks after spirit production resumed at Annandale Distillery, Cask 39 was partially filled with the remnant spirit from one of our very first unpeated spirit runs. The unique combination of its partial fill and the mellowing influence of the refill ex-Bourbon cask has created a truly remarkable whisky, with an exceptional sensory profile that reflects a decade of care and craftsmanship. Incredibly limited, with fewer than 70 bottles available, this cask-strength single malt is a moment in Annandale history. The exact ABV will be confirmed at bottling.
