Visitor Information

Annandale Distillery and Visitor Centre welcomes guests with disabilities and their helpers and carers.

ACCESSIBLE PARKING
We have designated disabled parking spaces for blue badge holders in our bottom car park, these are situated as close as possible to the Visitor Centre. On arrival, should further assistance be required, signage advises to telephone reception on 01461 207817 to notify staff who will bring our pneumatic wheelchair to you for your use during your visit.

WHEELCHAIR USERS
Please note that Annandale Distillery is a historic site which dates back to 1836. The courtyard is cobbled. We are a working distillery and as such a section of the distillery tour is not accessible to disabled visitors. The Still Room, housing the mash tun, washbacks and wash/spirit stills, is where mashing, fermentation and distillation takes place. The Still Room is situated on the first floor of the building and is only accessible by a stairway. The flooring in the Still Room is of a grid structure. We are currently working on a film screening option for disabled visitors in order to help guests with disabilities make the most of their visit.

TOILET FACILITIES
We have fully accessible disabled toilet facilities on site. The Visitor Toilets are located across the courtyard opposite The Maltings Coffee Shop.

THE MALTINGS COFFEE SHOP
The Maltings Coffee Shop is level surfaced for ease of navigation. It is furnished with beautiful handcrafted ash tables and stools. Two sofas are also available. Should visitors require a more supportive seat, padded upright chairs are available.

Should you require any further information regarding an upcoming visit or indeed wish to discuss any assistance required, please telephone us on 01461 207817, our dedicated staff will be only too happy to help you plan your visit to Annandale Distillery – A Spirit Reborn.
