Annandale Distillery are looking for a Kitchen Porter.
Salary:
Up to £12.60 per hour depending on age.
Annandale Distillery is a living wage employer.
Hours:
18 hours per week Monday – Sunday, variable rota
Location:
The Maltings Coffee Shop, Annandale Distillery, Annan, DG12 5LL.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be based in the MCS and will have the opportunity to work on the learn and work alongside out kitchen team.
This exciting position offers opportunity to progress into a higher role.
Responsibilities of a Kitchen Porter include but are not limited to:
- Washing, cleaning and polishing the crockery used in the restaurant
- Helping with deliveries
- Washing the kitchen utensils and cookware
- Maintaining a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness within the kitchen and still room
- Assisting with general tasks
- Following high standard of health and hygiene regulations
- Cleaning of kitchen and store areas
Key Requirements:
The successful candidate should have a lot of stamina, be able and eager to learn, and be passionate about their role. The candidate should also be versatile and flexible, so they are able to gain experience.
Any of the following qualifications are preferable:
- Basic/Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate
Applicants should be made aware there is a substantial amount of manual handling involved in the role.
