  • This pale gold single cask whisky from Annandale Distillery has been matured in a Fresh Ex Bourbon cask, allowing the purity of the distillate to take centre stage. Filled in 2016 and bottled at cask strength, Cask 881 showcases a bright, spirit forward character shaped by active American oak.

The aroma opens with clean vanilla and crisp green apple, underpinned by fresh estery notes and a subtle woody backdrop. On the palate, an oily texture carries the flavours smoothly, balancing sweet oak and orchard fruit with the natural weight of the spirit. The finish is short and precise, leaving a clean impression of vanilla, light fruit and fresh wood.

Bottled at cask strength, without chill filtration or added colouring, this whisky offers a clear and honest expression of Annandale’s spirit matured in fresh bourbon oak.
